You never want to be that family. The family with the young, fussy toddler. The toddler who only wants to sit in Mommy's lap and won't stop crying. The toddler who continues to whine and then cry so loudly that everyone in the Mexican restaurant turns around to stare...
We were that family. Even though Parker was not his usual self, hadn't been eating, and was on steroids, we still somehow thought it was ok to meet Nikki, Rodney, Morgan, Adam, & Emery at Mexican for dinner after Lilah's birthday party. What were we thinking?
It was like someone flipped a switch, because Parker was a completely different child later that night. He ate his leftover Mexican and enjoyed every bite! You'd never guess that this sweet boy could be so rotten when he doesn't feel well --
Do you see that manly bruise between his eyes? I almost forgot to thank Mimi and Dan-dad for stepping up to the plate once again! They watched Parker on Thursday & Friday, Dec 27-28 when he was on steroids and refusing to eat, so he didn't have to go to daycare. Parker was walking across the empty living room floor carrying his sippy cup, tripped on his on feet, and hit his head on his cup. Gotta love my clumsy little man... such a bruiser.
