On Tuesday May 7th, Mimi & Dan-dad watched Parker so we could go to the Ducks Unlimited Sponsors Dinner. No, we weren't sponsors... but the Dawsons gave us their tickets. We decided to buy a large packet of raffle tickets since we didn't have to pay for our dinner. There weren't very many people there, so we figured our chances were pretty high at winning something. They did the live auction first, and although I LOVED a framed print we weren't planning on bidding on anything. As they started the live auction, we realized that people weren't really bidding and items were going cheap! We ended up bidding and winning the framed print that I loved.
Following the live auction, they immediately started drawing winners for the raffle items. We were shocked when our ticket was pulled for the very first item on the women's table. We blinked, and they drew our ticket again for the 3rd item. Next up was a long table and we won another three items! We were almost embarrassed, but it was really comical. Our table hit the jackpot. We all walked away with some serious stuff, and all the other tables were getting irritated. Our pharmacist even won a diamond bracelet for his wife. Wil and I had an awesome time.
