Chicago & Zoo

I took off work on Friday, Sept 20th, so Parker and I could head to Chicago. Wil needed a farm weekend, so he skipped out on this trip.  Amanda's mom rode to Chicago with us, and it was nice having her along for the long drive. Parker did so well. I never would have guessed that he'd be so perfect for such a long ride. They were laying new asphalt on Amanda's street, and it provided Parker with a lot of entertainment. Dan provided the rest of his entertainment Friday night.

 

 

We headed to the zoo on Saturday. Parker napped on the way there, which worked out perfectly! Despite me running with Parker across the zoo to the potty and swearing the whole way that Parker was going to pee all over me, we had a blast. Parker loved seeing all the animals. We talked about what color they are, what they eat, if they were awake or sleeping. Parker's still talking about the zoo and all the animals. He truly loves Amanda & Dan, and we were so happy to spend the weekend with them.
