1 Year Appointment

Parker had his 1 year appointment with Dr. Ray on Monday. We were glad to take him, so Dr. Ray could make sure his chest was clear and his ear infections were gone.

Height: 30 3/4 in    (75th percentile)

Weight:  23 lbs  14 oz  (75th percentile)

Head Circum:  19 in   (90th percentile)

Dr. Ray was pleased with Parker's development as he's met all his milestones! We've already transitioned Parker to whole milk, and we're in the process of stopping bottles. She commented most about how much she loves the pointing stage. Parker's been pointing for quite some time, and we didn't realize it was such a great development. He points at everything he wants and says "that." 

The worst part of the appointment was when Parker got four shots -- FOUR! I wasn't expecting that many, and it broke my heart. Parker's a tough boy though.  His next wellness visit will be when he's 15 months old.
