Our "Pretend" Christmas

Baby Lilah will be here before we know it! We knew traveling with a newborn would be impossible for Brian and his family come real Christmas time, so we decided it was best to celebrate Christmas with my side of the family early this year.  Macie is adorable!  Brian & Abbie had to explain that Santa wasn't coming until real Christmas, so Macie called this our "pretend" Christmas. The food was great, and we loved getting to spend the whole day with my family. I'm kind of sad that this one big Christmas is already over, but we had a lot of fun (as you'll be able to tell from all the pictures)!

We headed to Sturgis late Friday afternoon. We decided it'd be less stressful to head on to Sturgis rather than rushing Saturday morning. Parker enjoyed some snuggle time with Daddy shortly after we arrived.

 Aunt Katie was so happy that Parker stayed awake to see her. Parker loves snuggling his Aunt KK.

 Parker and Daddy played & snuggled in the living room, while Grammie, Aunt Katie, & I baked.  My twice baked potatoes broke Mom's cheap hand mixer. Sorry Mom!

  We were ready to go by Saturday morning. Aren't the cousins adorable? Baby Lilah will be here in just a few weeks!

Brian & Abbie got me this tin with Parker's picture on it, and it has a puzzle with the same picture inside! Too cute!

Parker was napping while everyone opened their gifts, so he got all the attention when it was his turn.

Uncle Brian, Aunt Abbie, Macie, Gavin, & Lilah got Parker a book set & bubbles. They also gave him an outfit and a fleece early. These were Parker's first bubbles, and he LOVES them!

 Aunt Monica & Tyler came down Saturday afternoon! Aunt Poggie gave Parker his Christmas gift early since he's growing so fast!

Overall, Parker had a great first "pretend" Christmas! We're so thankful for our family!
