Sept 28 - Oct 1 ~ Pigeon Forge, TN
We left bright and early Friday morning. I wish this picture wasn't blurry. Parker loved having Grammie and Pops in the back seat with him! I won't mention our cabin drama or the fact that it rained too much.

| view from our cabin (over 2 miles up a mountain side) |
| Obergatlinburg -- Saturday |
| our favorite fearful couple |
| not too fond of heights myself... |
| Parker loved the wildlife encounter! |
| This is my FAVORITE bear photo! I love that the momma bear looks artificial in this picture. |
Wil and Parker decided to ride the sky life up and the alpine side back down --
So did Katie and Luke |
Pops opted for the sky life all the way to the tip top of the mountain. Grammie and I voted to stay on the ground |
| Unfortunately, the rain had other ideas. Everyone got SOAKED! No alpine slide. Poor Pops nearly drown in the down pour at the top of the mountain. |
| Cold and wet |
| Parker was worn out and took a great nap in his stroller. Pops had to buy a new outfit, but we enjoyed lunch in Gatlinburg. |
| Parker loved running on the cabin porch! He could have spent the whole vacation out there |
| Apple Barn for dinner. We were all too tired to really enjoy it |
| Parker protested most of our family photo attempts |
Katie and Luke had to leave after breakfast on Sunday. The rest of us headed to Laurel Falls! These are some of my favorite pictures.
| This was the last photo taken before this waterfall claimed my camera! Luckily, my new iphone was nearby to document the rest of our vacation. (Believe it or not, my camera dried out and is working again!!!!) |
Pops was worn out from our hike, so he stayed at the cabin while we did a little shopping. Parker loved the rides!
We planned on heading to the zoo before we left Monday morning, but it was raining. We decided to head on home. The ride home was far from enjoyable. Parker was miserable. At one point he said, "Help me mommy." Broke.My.Heart.
