39 Week Doc Appt

Wil and I went this morning for our 39 Week appointment.  Results:

Dilated 3.5cm & 75% effaced

Thursday--if not sooner--is THE day! We're scheduled to go in at 4 am, and Dr. Smith will break my water some time after 5 am.  She thinks things will progress pretty quickly and is expecting Baby Parker to be here around lunch time!  We're so excited to meet him and can't wait for everyone else to meet him too.  I'll be trying to breastfeed, so we're hoping to get a little family bonding time before all the visitors start arriving.  Wil and I are anxious, optimistic, naive, and overwhelmed all at the same time.  I'm planning on working tomorrow but taking off Wednesday. I'll be finalizing things for Baby Shep and treating myself to a pedicure :)   Thursday. Wow...
