Rodney’s out of town for 7 weeks with PT clinical, so
Nikki’s been home alone during the week. We invited her over for dinner on
Wednesday. We had a great time chatting, and Parker loved all over her. It’s
fun watching him put on the charm. Uncle Charles stopped by for a little bit
too and played airplane with Parker on the floor. Unfortunately, Parker started running a fever
that night (102). I kept thinking he was getting warm, but I was hoping I was
wrong. He played really well and didn’t act like he felt bad. When he went to
sleep, his cough got worse. We knew it was going to be a long night.
